Update: Feedburner has been restored. For now. Nevertheless, I recommend that you subscribe to the orginal URL below. When Feedburner is working, your reader should automatically get forwarded. When it’s not, your feed should still work.
Feedburner is screwed up, so if you are subscribing directly to that URL, you may not be getting updates in your RSS reader. Please resubscribe to https://eliterate.us/feed/.
Sorry about that. Serves me right for relying on Google.
Stephen Downes says
Resubscribed – but why are you using Feedburner to begin with? Even before it was acquired by Google, it was a pernicious service, collecting metrics for its own purposes, inserting ads, displaying unexplained and intolerably long response times, and indirecting URLs.
Michael Feldstein says
I never saw any user-facing issues (until now). Response time was always fine, and it never inserted ads unless I asked it to. (Ad insertion is considered a feature, not a bug, by some.) The data was useful to me. If I could have gotten the same data using a WordPress plugin, I would have done it that way, but I couldn’t find the appropriate plugin and don’t have the skill to write one myself.
